Privacy and POPIA Readiness Overview
This page summarizes the product's current privacy controls and request channels. Final responsible-party details, processing grounds, retention schedule, processor register, and any under-18 process require formal review before the related launch.
Current Processing Purposes
The product uses personal information to provide requested account, planning, learning, payment, support, and security functions. Registration, contact, and booking forms record the consent version submitted by the user. The final legal ground for each purpose must be confirmed in the approved privacy record.
Minimal and Purpose-Limited Use
We collect only data reasonably required for:
- Authentication and account management.
- Educational planning tools and member progress.
- Operational communication and support.
- Fraud prevention and audit controls.
Retention and Deletion
A category-specific retention schedule is not yet approved. A deletion request therefore starts an identity and data-category review; it does not immediately erase account, payment, consent, security, shared, or backup records. No automated retention job may guess those periods.
Cross-Border and Third Parties
Optional payments use Paystack, and account/support messages use the configured mail and hosting infrastructure. The responsible party must publish the approved provider, location, transfer, sub-processor, access, retention, and incident details before launch.
